Mod Edit: So after a few merges, here's a place to request Saosin files, be it, as the description suggests, audio, video, pictures, or anything else you guys can think of. Keep it clean though; don't host anything that the band makes profit off of (Translating The Name EP, Saosin EP, etc.).

Poster Designing Contest

Saosin is having a poster designing contest.

They need TWO separate poster designs.
(1) Their new tour with Terminal and No Warning
(2) Advertising their set time at Warped Tour, on the Maurice Stage

You may submit as many designs as you like.

Requirements:
Poster (1)
11"x17" 300dpi with bleed.
Band names.
URLs for bands
Record Labels for bands- images. For instance, the Capitol Records logo, not just plain text.

Poster (2)
anything goes!

Both posters must include a blank space in order to handwrite in information specific to each venue. For instance, poster (1) will have info written in for each day of the tour. poster (2) will have their set time written in it, as that will change daily.

Here is a rough template of what we're looking for:

Poster (1) will need to have more blank space available, as more needs to be written in. For the Warped poster (2), there is more leway as to where to leave the space since it doesn't have to be that large. For both, it doesn't have to be white, it just has to be left empty with enough room to largely hand write in info. Common sense, people.

There's been so much confusion about that, I HOPE this is clear enough.

Terms of the contest:
DUE by July 1st.
PRIZE is 2 tickets to a Saosin show of your choice.
Please send me jpegs, but remember that all final designs must be psd (photoshop/illustrator) files.
The posters will be printed on 11"x17" paper, so keep that in mind.

"Saosin will be releasing a new EP titled The Grey on October 14th. It will be sold on tour and through hurley.com and will feature three new songs, as well as an acoustic version of "Come Close." The band will start recording their new album after their tour with Underoath."

Just some things to keep in mind:

The original version of 'No Angel' (with "You're No Angel" as the chorus) is NOT a Saosin song. It was recorded with Beau on vocals before Anthony Green had joined.
'I Have Become What I Always Hated' is NOT technically Saosin, it is only feauturing Anthony and Chris
"Show Me Yo Bootyhole" is NOT a Saosin song. Chris and Beau from the band, plus their friend Beau from Take the Crown make up the mock-rap group B2C.
'Light Years Away' is NOT Saosin---its Big Blue Monkey (pre Story of the Year)
'Plays Pretty for Baby' is NOT Saosin--it's from an old band of Anthony Green's (Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer)
"Inhale Water" is NOT Saosin--it's Recover from their Ceci N Est Pas Recover EP
'Plays Ugly for Daddy' is NOT Saosin--it's from an Anthony Green side-project (High and Driving)
"SHh" was the demo title for "Follow And Feel," but is simply an unmastered version of the same song.
'I've Been Trying to Reach You' is NOT a Saosin song. It was a song recorded with Anthony Green, Justin Skekoski and Scott from Weezer.

Explanation of "I've Been Trying to Reach You" from Justin:
