I think this is pretty relevant and deserves its own thread apart from the ISOSG thread already here.
I got my hands on the DVD version of ISOSG and I was very impressed. It gave me a feeling that made me think, "These guys still got it. They have tons of fun in the studio and even more fun on stage." I guess my question basically is how much fun do you guys still have writing new Saosin material and, for that matter, "post hardcore" (hate the put it in one genre, but have to) music in general? I've been wondering what the drive/motivation was like to get this record complete and if it has fueled you for the next record. Do you feel stoked for the upcoming tour? And what's your drive like for this type of music in general? Do you still enjoy playing this type of music? I've always thought Saosin has an understanding of melody and writing sense that few other bands have today and I hope that Saosin creates great music for years to come.
It gave me a great feeling to see you guys kick ass in the studio.
Peace!
